All of the flavour, none of the caffeine. This lot of the Pink Bourbon begins as the same coffee and undergoes the same process as our Colombia - Juan Camillo - Camionetta Anoxic Natural. The difference here is that an additional stage - sugarcane decaffeination - is then carried out removing 99.9% of the caffeine content.
This decaffeination process combines high mountain spring water and Ethyl Acetate (EA), a compound which is already naturally present in every coffee cherry. The EA for this process is obtained from a sugarcane-based process and is, together with spring water, the only other element coffee gets in contact with. The process allows for gentle extraction of the caffeine from the bean, avoiding excessive heat or pressure, maintaining the natural structure and all characteristics of the coffee bean.

No coffee leaves our roastery if it is more than 7 days from the roast date. Coffee ordered for Monday dispatch may be subject to delays depending on weekend ordering patterns and roasted stock levels.

TIPS
All our coffee beans are roasted fresh and are best consumed within 6 weeks of roast date. Always reseal in our airtight bag and store at ambient temperature.
