This class is part of the Specialty Coffee Association's (SCA) Coffee SkillsProgram and is open to all levels of knowledge wether you are a cafe owner, budding barista or just have a general interest in learning more about the wonderful world of coffee!
The class will present and discuss:
'...coffee’s journey from its origins in Ethiopia to the major commodity it is today. From growing the cherries through grading, roasting, and brewing, this module provides an overview of the coffee value chain.'
Come and join us as we spill the beans with our industry knowledge and learnings, we'll have loads of information, experience and topics of discussion whilst hanging out in the Dear Green roastery sipping our way through lots of delicious coffee.
This is a Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) class and will be hosted by AST's (Authorised 'SCA' Trainer's) Lisa Lawson or Daniel Ormonde and will contribute 10 points to all attendees working their way towards the SCA Coffee Diploma! No prerequisite required.
