I'm Ruairí, and I'm from London
What does a day at Dear Green look like for you?
A lot of my day is spent drinking coffee, packing coffee and trying to absorb as much coffee knowledge as possible. Recently I've started taking out local deliveries, and it's been great to get out and about in Glasgow and meet some of our wholesale customers.
What's your favourite way to brew?
Aeropress is my daily go-to. It's super straight-forward and reliable, and I always bring it along whenever I'm camping.
Your favourite Dear Green coffee?
Right now I'm really enjoying the Burundi Mutambu Hill
What do you like most about working for a B Corporation?
Knowing that the work we do doesn't happen in isolation and being conscious of wider impacts.
Aside from coffee, what are your passions?
I love reading, but I also like to hike, bike, and generally be outdoors.
If you could have coffee with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
Patti Smith. So much of M Train is an ode to coffee rituals.
What’s your favourite thing about speciality coffee?
There's always more to learn and to be surprised by.
What tracks do you listen to for some seriously good vibes?
A good balance/strange venn diagram of weepy folk and campy pop.
