What’s your name and where are you from?
My name is Anna and I’m from a little coastal town in Fife called Burntisland. I moved to Glasgow for uni in 2014 and loved it so much that I stayed!
What does a day at Dear Green look like for you?
Roasting beans! Sourcing and profiling new coffees. QC to make sure everything is always up to standard. Supporting the team and ensuring the roastery runs smooth day to day
What's your favourite way to brew?
We start every day in the roastery with a batch brew, which I’m a big fan of. At home, I tend to do brew pourovers on an Orea. Sometimes espresso if I'm feeling ~fancy~
Your favourite Dear Green coffee?
I've been absolutely loving our honey process Honduras, Abeja! It was a firm fave in 2023 - so much so that we've got fresh crop in for 2024
What do you like most about working for a B Corporation?
That we try to do the best we can for people and the planet!It’s important to me, so it’s exciting to be part of a team that focuses on that so heavily
Aside from coffee, what are your passions?
Definitely food. I love cooking and / or going out for tasty tasty meals. I also love a good read, a swim or a bit of yoga

What’s your favourite thing about speciality coffee?
It’s ever evolving and there’s always more to learn! Not to mention it’s delicious
What tracks do you listen to for some seriously good vibes?
It changes all the time but I am currently listening to a lot of Maggie Rogers and The Japanese House. I'm also fully obsessed with Chappell Roan
