We've just about recovered from our adventures in London this past weekend, where we had the pleasure of popping up at not one, not two, but three separate places at London Coffee Festival! Here's everything we got up to!
First up was a guest slot with our friends at Heylo Coffee! For those that don't know, Heylo is the world's first induction powered professional coffee system. We had a fantastic time learning all about this incredible machine and serving up our Ethiopian Odaco on espresso! A huge thanks to the team at Heylo for having us!
It was then a quick hop over to Old Spitalfields Market, where Lisa joined Nicole Ferris from Climpson & Sons for a hosted panel, discussing how we can take good business from niche to normal. It was so great to share our story of becoming B Corp and the journey that we're currently on to become the best version of a coffee roastery that we can be. A huge shoutout to Climpson & Sons for inviting us along!
As if the day wasn't already action packed enough, we finished our Friday teaming up with our friends at La Marzocco, for a slot at the True Artisan Cafe. It's always a fantastic experience and in our tenth year of attending the festival the good vibes were flowing as much as always! We had an awesome time serving 'Odaco', a naturally processed coffee from the Daye Bensa Cooperative in Sidama, Ethiopia. We created a signature drink named Pineapple & Ginger Odaco Fizz (Look out for the recipe dropping soon!). All the love as always to La Marzocco for hosting us!
So that's the immense fun on London Coffee Festival over for another year. Now our attention turns to something a little closer to home!! Glasgow Coffee Festival is on the horizon and we can't wait to continue the party, celebrating the very best of Scottish specialty coffee! Want to join us there? Get your tickets!
